The dialog between creation and
destruction is like the rising red cloud, hanging silently over
our heads. A small group of people, excited by the latest technology
and further inspired by electronic fantasy, are inspired to
achieve a more material existence their version of " the
good life. " A girl from the hinterlands of western China
runs in holding a warning sign. She is telling the people that
" in the mountains of Da Liang the air is still clean,
the water pure and untainted by industrial pollution. "
Because there is less and less clean air, pure water and organic
food, people choose to find equilibrium between material life
and the environment. Agencies should make policies to assist
with this dilemma. Do we want children in our cities to go to
school with gas masks?
